Is there anything as lovely as Swedish summer? I like my life in Taiwan but when summer comes, I am soooo homesick. Summer is the most beautiful time in Sweden when everything is green and crisp and the nature smells wonderful of grass, trees and flowers. In Sweden, we have five weeks vacation every year and many people have their vacation in the middle of the summer in July. Which means that in July, the whole country stands still and many factories and shops are empty. To walk along a quiet road is pure pleasure. No people, no cars and no motorcycles. Only peace and a restful silence. Oh,  I’m homesick!
