I love to meet new students! I have been teaching Swedish in Taipei for many years now and it’s always fun to meet new students and listen to their dreams and visions. It’s a big step to learn a complete new language and move to a new country. My students are brave and hard-working, full of energy and have interesting plans for the future. I admire them a lot who are willing to move to a country up north with a very different culture and traditions. Some students are not going to Sweden to live there but maybe going on vacation and yet other students are simply interested in Sweden and Swedish. Great fun to meet and learn to know you all! 🙂

Swedish Basic One is a language course and also a  course where I will tell you many things about Swedish society, Swedish culture and Swedish traditions. I am a writer and journalist and nowadays also a filmmaker so I really love stories and culture.

We also talk about food, of course! Food is a big part of any culture. And music! Sweden is the third biggest music producer in the world after the US and the UK.
